As you may know, Twitter made significant structural changes to your profile page. Making your customized background obsolete. I’ve created a PhotoShop template that takes into account the structural changes. You are welcome to download and use for your purposes. Please be aware that the dimensions are set to accommodate a screen resolution of 1280X800 pixels.
