Last week, I was reading Jeremiah Owyang’s post detailing the advent of social media management systems (SMMS). According to Owyang, “Like CMS and WMS for centralized website management, Social Media Management Systems (SMMS) empower social media teams to manage multiple distributed social channels from one location –enabling the opportunity to build deeper relationships by being in more places at once.” Through that post, I was able to connect with Kenneth Cho, the co-founder of Spredfast — Spredfast allows clients to extend their branded content from a single administration interface to the blogosphere, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Flickr. Kenneth and the team at Spredfast shared with me that they are offering a single standard plan FREE to non-profits for an initiative/campaign. For those of you crunching the numbers, that’s a $50/month value for the use of a premier SMMS interface. In addition to the first initiative/campaign, Spredfast will offer additional initiatives at a rate of $40/per campaign, per month. That is a 20% discount off of their standard plan pricing. They have also generously offered to do one-on-one demos and help with any set-up at no charge. Spredfast is currently being used by the likes of Convio, Radian6, IBM and the Sierra Club. If you are interested in discussing this free offer and any additional plans, please contact Spredfast. Be sure to identify this offer and your non-profit status. Enjoy!
